Clark County System
of Care Evaluation

Evaluation
data is collected on a sample of children who are identified at intake
into a public mental health center and who fit the following criteria:
ü
Cross-sectional data
(DIQ) collected through the intake process on all that meet criteria
ü
Random sampling selects
families to invite to voluntarily participate in the full interview (face
to face)
ü
Information collected
from both caregiver (1-2 hour interview, $20 reimbursement) and youth
(1 hour interview; $10 reimbursement; youth is 11 – 17.5 years old at
intake)
ü
Voluntary interviews
conducted every 6 months for up to 3 years after initial intake – even
if not receiving services or youth has turned 18
