CPDS was funded by Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. in October, 2006, and had a project life of fourteen months.

The goals of the CPDS Project were to:

  1. Establish a consumer/survivor leadership team comprised of individuals who receive mental health services from Cascadia;
  2. Provide informational trainings to the leadership team on different types of peer-delivered services to be potentially implemented by peers within Cascadia;
  3. Through strategic planning sessions, identify two peer-delivered services types for which funding would be sought, and;
  4. Working collaboratively, research possible funders, and develop finished proposals for submission to chosen funders.

CPDS was a project of the Mental Health Association of Oregon/PeerLiNC Oregon which is housed at RRI.
