RRI logoThe Regional Research Institute for Human Services is the research component of the Graduate School of Social Work at Portland State University, Portland, Oregon. Our aim is to improve the manner in which social services and service delivery systems are designed, managed and evaluated. More About Us.

The RRI Green Team wins an award!

Recently the RRI was awarded the RecycleWorks Award from the City of Portland's Office of Sustainable Development.
The award arrived today, and is currently at the reception desk for your viewing pleasure.

As a RecycleWorks award winner, the RRI will:

-- Gain attention with an award made from reclaimed bicycle parts
-- Earn public recognition through advertisements ran in the Oregonian's In Portland section, and in the Portland Business Journal
-- Be a role model for other businesses
-- Earn appreciation from consumers, community members and employees alike who value efforts to conserve resources.

We are currently one of three departments at PSU who have been awarded this honor.
Thanks to the RRI Sustainability Committee for all their hard work!

In honor of Earth Week, the RRI will be featured in a full-page ad in the Portland Business Journal, running on Friday, April 25, 2008.
