The Oregon Consumer/Survivor Network (OCN) is funded by a three-year grant from the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). It has as its three primary goals to:
- Increase the number of mental health consumer/survivors serving on mental health system consultative and planning bodies and councils through targeted trainings, and the establishment of mentor/mentee relationships;
- Facilitate and support further development of regional and inter-regional networks linking consumer/survivor groups, with ultimate integration into a statewide network; and
- Make broadly available through its newsletter, The Synergist, news, information, and resource tools of benefit to the Oregon consumer/survivor community.
OCN is a project activity of the Mental Health Association of Oregon/PeerLiNC Oregon which is housed at RRI.
Project end date - October, 2010
